Who says commercially pressed new music CD3 single releases are dead? Apparently Universal's Island division has gone retro with this 2005 limited edition 2-track 3 inch compact disc single from Irisih rockers U2.

It's even packaged in a mini jewel case the way the original CD3s from the 1980s "should have" been packaged instead of all those odd-sized sleeves they came in.

This U2 single features two tracks with one being a remixed version. U2 is no stranger to the CD3 format as they had a number of their singles released in the format in the late 1980s both in the U.S. and European markets.

This U2 3" CD single is a welcome addition to any CD collector's shelves.
