This was Cyndi Lauper's very first release. It was done before her days with "Blue Angel"

Cyndi was paid $12.00 for this recording. Cyndi was hired to record some tracks, as a singer, before she had any hits and this song is one of them. She doesn't own the recordings, they are not her productions.

In November a fan gave Cyndi the 12" vinyl recording of this song because she thought she should have a copy of it. She responded, "I got paid $15 to sound like someone else."
